Simplicius Simplicissimus als Kalenderfigur
Text und Autor als medienspezifische Konstruktion im ‚Europäischen Wundergeschichten Calender‘
Pages 225 - 233
This article discusses the role of Grimmelshausen’s literary figure Simplicissimus in two 17th century calendars (Schreibkalender). In combining the non-literary genre of the calendar with the hero of his picaresque novel ‘Der Abentheuerliche Simplicissimus Teutsch’, Grimmelshausen and his publisher created a new and popular mixed genre, which was soon and successfully copied by other authors.
